EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY AGAINST SEX TRAFFICKING PROGRAM:

First Nations Community HealthSource’s Education and Advocacy against Sex Blue ribbon iconTrafficking (EAST) is dedicated to supporting Native American/Alaskan Native victims of sex trafficking in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the surrounding Tribal communities. The EAST program provides advocacy, prevention education, and essential case management services to victims by linking them to resources and services that protect their safety. SERVICES PROVIDED:

EAST provides comprehensive case management services to all Native America/Alaskan Native victims of sex trafficking- including women, men, youth and LGBTQ who are currently living in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the surrounding Tribal communities. In addition to case management, the program engages in weekly community outreach, promotes awareness through presentations to families, health care providers and communities to educate them on the issues of sex trafficking. To ensure a comprehensive service system to meet the needs of our clients EAST provides  victim advocacy services and referrals to outside community partners.

The mission of EAST is to enhance the quality and quantity of services available to victims of sex trafficking through the provision of victim services, trained advocacy, public media outreach, education, and community collaborations.
