COVID-19 Testing

First Nations offers free COVID-19 testing. Taking the test can provide you with important information about whether you have contracted COVID-19 so you can reduce your risk for severe illness and take steps to lower your chances of spreading the virus to others. First Nations can also help you choose the right type of test (e.g., PCR or Antigen) based on your specific situation. For more information about COVID-19 testing, please visit the CDC website at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing.

First Nations offers walk-in and appointment-based options for receiving COVID-19 vaccines. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that everyone 6 months and older should receive an updated COVID-19 vaccine. People aged 65 years and older who received one dose of any updated COVID-19 vaccine should receive an additional dose of an updated COVID-19 vaccine at least four months after the previous updated date. For more information about the CDC’s recommendations, please visit their website at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/index.html.
