Taking the test can provide you with important information about whether you have contracted COVID-19 so you can reduce your risk for severe illness and take steps to lower your chances of spreading the virus to others. First Nations offers walk-in and appointment-based options for receiving COVID-19 vaccines. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that everyone 6 months and older should receive an updated COVID-19 vaccine. People aged 65 years and older who received one dose of any updated COVID-19 vaccine should receive an additional dose of an updated COVID-19 vaccine at least four months after the previous updated date.
